About Inkandescent™ Learning: Master Teachers Provide Distance Learning Classes = Women + Wellness + Kids

Inkandescent™ Learning is an educational distance learning nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting Women, educating and inspiring Kids, and bringing health & Wellness to every body.

“Thanks to distance learning, boundaries of geography no longer impede access to master teachers and excellent curriculum,” explains founder journalist, publicist, and entrepreneur Hope Katz Gibbs, whose mission is to connect master teachers with students of all ages in three segments to reach a wide audience, and earn income.

1. Women: Experts in business, professional services, life coaching, and more, teach courses to those needing to improve their skill sets. Through our magazine, www.InkandescentWomen.com, hundreds of women are profiled, promoted and supported as they share lessons that give others the courage, inspiration and tools to live the life of their dreams.

Inkandescent Speakers bureau, for women, by women, about women, is a national traveling show where they appear as keynote speakers, workshop presenters, and panelists to share their stories of success, trials, and lessons learned on dozens of topics: www.InkandescentSpeakers.com.

2. Health and Wellness: Practitioners of a myriad of wellness and healing modalities reach an even larger audience to teach yoga, fitness, movement and meditation, conduct workshops on nutrition, massage, and more. Our magazine, www.BeInkandescent.com, features articles and inspiration on the business of Mind, Body, Spirit, Soul — we’re all Heart.

Through or Well on Wheels program, our teachers take classes to organizations, corporations, hotels, and events, which are also streamed and catalogued for future download: www.YourWell.us.

3. Kids: Our K-12 distance learning hub, www.InkandescentLearning.com, offers an array of classes students who are homeschooled — as well as those attending public and private school in need of enrichment, tutoring, and mentors.

  • Teachers who have taught K-12 — and are retired, no longer teaching in schools, or wanting to generate additional revenue — and want to reach a national/international network of students to teach 8-core curriculum areas (math, science, history, language arts, foreign language, PE, and technical education).
  • Our magazine for kids, by kids, about kids, InkandescentKids.com, publishes work by students as it teaches them to think like a reporter and engage in critical thinking about topics ranging from school shootings, to the opioid epidemic, melting icebergs, space travel, and more.

Plus: There will be camps, workshops and field trips where students can explore more, and integrate what they are learning:

  • Cook Like the Colonists takes students to historic inns from the Colonial era for a history and cooking class.
  • “So You Want To Be A …” TV show and ebook series* is our Workforce Readiness program. Field trips are videotaped and posted on our YouTube channel, www.Inkandescent.tv, as students interview professionals ranging from architecture and agriculture to law, medicine, entrepreneurship, and more.
  • This is What Democracy Looks Like is an interactive interview and field trip series that connects students of all ages to legal and government professionals who teach global citizenship.

Our give back: For students who cannot afford to purchase our online classes, Be Inkandescent™ provides scholarships to women and children in-need.
