- What made you decide to homeschool your children?
- How many kids do you have — and are they all homeschooled?
- Were you homeschooled as a child?
- If not, what type of education did you receive (public, private, other)?
- Did you enjoy your academic experience?
- Did your spouse agree that homeschooling was a good idea? If not, how did you resolve the conflict?
- Do you have a teaching background? If not, how did you figure out how to teach your children? If so, did it help in the process of homeschooling your kids?
- What was the most helpful tool at your disposal regarding the academic and extracurricular courses you taught your kids?
- Tell us more about how you teach your child through the day, week, year.
- How did your teaching style change throughout your child’s developmental phases: elementary, middle, high school?
- What are your favorite subjects to teach? Which subjects were the most challenging?
- What kind of conflicts came up, and how did you resolve them?
- Do you collaborate with other families? How often? In which ways?
- Which resources have you used to educate your child — online (websites, streamed Skype classes, etc.), co-ops, textbooks, workbooks, workshops, etc.
